1954 Huang Binhong Jialing River Qinglv Landscape Map Axis
Paper version. Painted by Mr. Jiang Wenjie, with strong brushstrokes and ink., This painting was donated to our museum by Mr. Wu Liqi. The title of the painting is: "What you saw on the Jialing River when you visited Sichuan and Sichuan. Mr. Wen Jie shows charm. There is one Bin Hong in the nineties of the Jiawu era." The corner print: Zhu Wen, "People in Mount Huangshan Mountain." The white text: "Huang Bin Hong.".
The Anhui Huizhou History Museum has a collection of Huang Binhong's "Journey to the Jialing River", which is a national first-class cultural relic. It is a paper version, with a vertical length of 67 centimeters and a horizontal length of 23 centimeters. It is a work of Huang Binhong's later years and was donated to Jiang Wenjie, a resident of She in Shanghai, for collection. Jiang Wenjie, out of his love for his hometown, was handed over by Wu Liqi, a She person, in the early 1980s and donated to the collection of She County Museum, Mount Huangshan City, Anhui Province. This landscape axis is inscribed with the following words: "Mr. Wenjie belongs to Jie when he visited the Jialing River during the Sichuan Sichuan period, and there is one in the nineties of the Jiawu Binhong era", and the seal is "Huang Binhong" and "People in Mount Huangshan Mountain".
Huang Binhong, with the courtesy name Pucun and the middle age nickname Binhong, originated from Shexian County, Anhui Province. He is a modern Chinese painter who is skilled in painting landscapes and is also a calligrapher. Together with Bai Jiao, Gao Ershi, and Li Zhimin, he is known as the "Four Masters of 20th Century Scholar Calligraphy". This artwork is a masterpiece by Huang Binhong, who lived in Qixia Ridge, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province in 1954 before her death. After successful eye surgery, her artistic career reached its final peak. Upon closer inspection of the entire painting, the content is about the small landscapes of mountains, rivers, villages, and fields that Huang Binhong saw while visiting the Jialing River in Sichuan and Sichuan twenty years ago.
