Exhibition Introduction

The exhibition only includes a portion of Mr. Hu Hualing's donated calligraphy and painting works. "I love my hometown Shexian, with strong local sentiment. I love my great motherland and always remember the mission of serving and dedicating myself. In the past, I have done some beneficial work for Anhui and Jiangsu. Firstly, I have trained socialist construction talents for the country, and secondly, I have inherited and carried forward the excellent traditions of national art, striving to explore and create works of the new era." Mr. Hu Hualing said and practiced it in this way. Mr. Wang Shiqing once commented: "Since the Ming Dynasty, the painting school in Wuyi has been renowned for its talented individuals and renowned art fields. It has grown stronger and stronger since the Jianjiang River. By the late Qing Dynasty, Huang Binlao rose to the shores of the Tan River, and the successor, Cai Bai, passed down the techniques of the Xin'an Painting School alone. However, for more than forty years since Cai Bai's death, he has not yet met with anyone who can introduce him or his master. After the initial discussion in She, he was able to witness the calligraphy and painting techniques under his feet, which he felt deeply rooted and admired. There are better conditions in Southern Art, which allows him to have deeper research in calligraphy and painting." "My artistic achievements are particularly limitless. I have also made great contributions to the rise of the Xin'an painting industry." As Mr. Wang Guanqing said in his congratulatory message at the opening ceremony, "Mr. Hu has a strong passion for his hometown. Before his death, he decided to donate several of his most satisfactory works to the museum in his hometown, contributing to the inheritance and development of Huizhou culture. The establishment of the 'Hu Hualing Art Museum' has fulfilled Mr. Hu's wish of nostalgia and gratitude for his hometown." I would like to express my high respect and deep nostalgia to Professor Hu Hualing through this museum and exhibition!
